The Cub Cadet Ultima Series ZTX6 54 is a premium residential/commercial-crossover zero-turn that borrows heavily from Cub Cadet’s commercial lineup. Featuring a 25.5 HP Kawasaki V-Twin, commercial dual Hydro-Gear transmissions, a rugged tubular steel frame, and a 54-in. AeroForce™ Max fabricated deck, it’s built for homeowners with larger properties who want commercial-grade performance.
Power comes from a 25.5 HP Kawasaki FX801 V-Twin OHV engine (852cc) paired with commercial-grade dual Hydro-Gear® ZT-3400 hydrostatic transmissions that push ground speeds to 9 mph forward and 3.5 mph reverse. The 54-in. AeroForce™ Max robotically welded fabricated deck is built from 10-gauge reinforced steel with side, top, and leading-edge reinforcements and maintenance-free spindles, designed for few clumps, fine clippings, and exceptionally even cut quality.
The 24-in. high-back seat features independent suspension, cushioned armrests, a ball-bearing seat slide, and advanced polymer isolators so you stay comfortable at full mowing speed. Standard LED headlights, overmolded soft-touch grips, and independently sprung caster wheels round out a long day of mowing.
