The Cub Cadet PRO Z 960L EFI is a commercial-grade zero-turn mower designed for professional landscapers, property managers, and serious operators who need durable equipment that performs shift after shift. Part of the PRO Z 900 L Series, this 60-inch zero-turn delivers a premium balance of power, cut quality, and operator comfort.
At its core is a 38.5 HP Kawasaki FX1000V (999cc) V-Twin EFI engine paired with a heavy-duty 16cc Hydro-Gear 5400 transmission. Electronic fuel injection means reliable starts, reduced fuel consumption, and steady power under heavy loads. Dual 7.45-gallon fuel tanks (14.9 gallons total) keep downtime to a minimum on large jobs.
The 60-inch fabricated cutting deck is built from 7-gauge steel with top, bottom, and side reinforcements, plus a 1/4-inch rolled leading edge for long-term durability. Triple high-lift Marbain blades deliver a clean, consistent cut, and 8-inch sealed maintenance-free cast aluminum spindles reduce service time. Cutting height adjusts from 1" to 5" in 1/4-inch increments via pedal-assisted deck lift.
Operator comfort is not an afterthought. A high-back Air-Ride suspension seat with EVC cushion and an ISO-mounted lateral suspension base absorbs impacts all day long. The fully welded 3/8" x 5" laser-cut steel frame, 2" x 3" front axle with ISO dampening, and foldable 2" x 2" ROPS deliver confidence on rough terrain.
